	Eileen Doherty, MS, is the Executive Director of the Colorado Gerontological Society in Denver. Since 2005, she has also been an adjunct instructor of sociology at Fort Hays State University, her alma mater. She serves on the City and County of Denver’s Adult Protection Task Force and a variety of other senior organizations and committees. She writes our monthly column on gerontology. After retiring from law enforcement in the 1980s, Ron became an author on health, then started writing articles and books on his worldwide travel experiences, which is his passion. 	Beth McCann is Denver’s District Attorney. She was elected in November 2016 and was sworn into office on January 10, 2017. She is the first female District Attorney in Denver’s history. 	Matt Kissane is the Director of Listener Services and our column writer for the Audio Information Network in Boulder. Matt studied journalism at Columbia College Chicago and worked a semester internship for the Chicagoland Radio Information Service (CRIS), the area’s reading service for the blind. Michael was previously a principle in an advertising and publishing company, which published a state-wide magazine and represented an independent television station. As a former Vice President of Operations for a group of radio stations, Michael often acted as station manager, was involved in administrative duties, directed the advertising sales teams and actively pursued public relations efforts on behalf of the various small and medium market AM stations.
