Denver Honors Veterans!

Last month, Denver honored veterans with a military parade and fair on Veterans Day at Civic Center Park. Thousands of civic minded citizens attended the two hour parade that surrounded the park. Many ROTC groups, military personnel with their colorful flags marched by the citizens along with military vehicles, marching bands, and lots of veterans as shown here.

Different groups represented the Revolutionary War to the latest Iraq War with color guards and various vehicles. Even the Denver El Jezbel Temple included their dune buggy patrol, mini and standard classic cars, and clowns on electric scooters, as seen in these photos. Local entertainment included a band and military actors and over 75 exhibitors showed different military or veteran related items at their tents in the park. David Clifton Ministries hosted their annual Thanksgiving luncheon for several thousand veterans and the homeless. Thanks to the many exhibitors and the city for hosting the parade and fair!
