The Better Business Bureau serving Denver/Boulder (BBB) is excited to announce a partnership with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), AARP Foundation Elder Watch and Stop Fraud Colorado to educate the retired community about fraudulent scams and tips for spotting them during National Consumer Protection Week, March 6-12. On Wednesday, March 9, all of the agencies come together at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center for a consumer protection open house with presentations from experts in financial fraud and predatory practices.
The open house is free to the public and coffee and treats will be provided. The Wheat Ridge Recreation Center is located at 4005 Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. The open house is from 9-11 a.m.
