The 4th Annual Create Our Future Together Conference was held at the Plaza Event Center in Longmont. The one-day conference was the result of the latest four-year Age Well Boulder County Strategic Plan which was a community-led initiative to further understand current aging trends and envision and plan for an ideal future for all older adults.
The conference was designed for decision makers, board members, community leaders, academics, business professionals and consumers involved in and concerned with healthy aging. In addition to exhibitor spaces, there were professional networking opportunities.
A delicious lunch was included for the attendees.
The conference theme this year was Aging in Community. Presenter sessions addressed emerging and evolving industry, cultural and sociological trends in aging. Groups and industries, business, agencies and individuals who and that attended and sponsored the event were closely identified with the aging population.
