Food safety is a top priority for Weld Food Bank. Recently, they were audited by AIB International, a worldwide food safety organization that is backed by more than 60 years of experience in the fields of food manufacturing, beverages, ingredients and packaging. They conduct audits in more than 120 countries. Their standards are recognized worldwide by food companies as a measure of having world-class programs.

The comprehensive, globally recognized audit evaluates five categories: 1) operational methods and personnel practices, 2) maintenance for food safety, 3) cleaning practices, 4) integrated pest management and 5) adequacy of prerequisite and food safety programs. The highest score a company can receive is a 1000. Weld Food Bank is proud to announce they received a superior score of 900.
