WCP Premiers Award Winning Play

Windsor Community Playhouse has been awarded the right to produce a new play from the American Association of Community Theatres. This award is a true honor and is evidence of the high regard the Association has for WCP.

Playwrights from across the country sent in scripts to be perused by AACT. When WCP was chosen, one of only seven in the country, the local playhouse was overjoyed! It took over a month for the new play to be awarded. AACT sent WCP 14 plays to read. WCP chose its top three that they thought could be produced in their theatre. WCP received their first choice.
