Be Kind to Yourself was the theme of a recent Caregiver Appreciation Day recently held in the Aims Community College Welcome Center Mountain View Ball Room. The event was well attended by Caregivers, families, friends, Sponsor representatives, vendors and other visitors wanting to learn more about Caregiving and related senior services.
Weld AAA Caregivers Day
Area Agency on Aging Weld County was the Event Sponsor. Other sponsors included: Bristol Hospice, UC Health, Pathways Hospice of Northern Colorado. 50 Plus Marketplace News was the media sponsor. There was a wide variety of Table Sponsors where helpful senior/Caregiver information was available and questions answered.
Various speakers addressed topics vital to Caregiving. There were opportunities for a little pampering. A continental break-
fast and lunch was served. All and all, the event was quite successful.
