Veterans Plaza Has Successful Heroes Golf Tournament!

Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado sponsored a Heroes Golf Tournament in September to fund the Vietnam Traveling Wall for a 2023 return engagement and support needy veterans via their Vet2Vet Fund. Thirty-six teams of four players each played in a team scramble at the Pelican Lakes Resort & Golf Club in Windsor. Many awards were given to individual players and to the top three teams. The tournament received over 30 thousand dollars in registrations and donations to support the two veteran causes.

The top three teams with the best team scores were: Kevin Clements team with -17 under par, David Martin team with -16, and Nick Zenzen team with -12. Each team received awards and other gifts.

Scheels Sports and Tolmar gave introductions as key sponsors during the award ceremony.
