Douglas County residents rank highest in length of life and have the highest quality of life. The County has been ranked as one of the top two healthiest Colorado Counties since 2011.
Douglas County is followed by Broomfield, Pitkin, Eagle, and Boulder counties as the next healthiest counties in Colorado.

The four health factor areas in the model include Health Behaviors, Clinical Care, Social & Economic Factors, and Physical Environment. Health outcomes represent how healthy a county is right now. They reflect the physical and mental well-being of residents through measures representing the length and quality of life typically experienced in the community.
