Tigges Farm Season Ends

Tigges Farm because of COVID-19 followed best practices and kept a more detailed record of every roasted chile order. They had a record in the past, but never actually counted or had more than a first name. October 10th, at closing, the farm knew they would see customer order #1000. That lucky person was Devin Salazar, pictured on the left. He came to Greeley to visit the Boatright’s (pictured on the right) and ate “all” the chile they had bought earlier.

So the Boatright’s brought Salazar to the farm to replace the chile he ate and stock up on some of his own. Not only did he leave with 4 bushels of chile (one free for being #1000) he went home with a goodie basket of pepper jams, dip mix, and homemade gift items. Congratulations Devin and thank you to all the loyal supporters of Tigges Farm. Tigges Farm hopes to be back in 2021 “without COVID-19” and with roasted chilies, all the events, activities, and pumpkin patch. The return is, for sure, anxiously awaited.
