Coronavirus Update

As of Monday (4/13) at 12 pm, the worldwide cases exceed 1,776,867 with 111,828 deaths. In the U.S., 524,514 cases have been reported with 20,444 deaths, the most of any country to date! Colorado is reporting 7,303 cases with 290 deaths. China is now reporting more cases after lifting their lockdown in Wuhan.

Forty two states have issued ‘Stay at Home’ orders. New York State hasn’t seen a peak in deaths yet, but seems to have less cases. The City of Los Angeles is issuing hefty $1000 fines for violators of their ‘Stay at Home’ order. It seems the younger generations don’t believe we have a pandemic, thus assemble in crowds on the beaches and elsewhere.

CBS-TV show ’60 Minutes’ reports that the doctors are nurses in New York State are having problems getting supplies and many health workers are frustrated, tired, and some are getting the virus. New York Governor Cuomo claims he is doing his best to help everyone including helping the mass burials of the deceased.

China says their aircraft carrier hasn’t been affected by the virus, but that’s iffy news! One sailor died on the USS Teddy Roosevelt, now docked in Guam.

This virus crisis is a challenge, but CDC and President Trump say please stay home and be safe! The World Health Organization is asking all leaders to quit the blame game and face reality!
