Up until November 22, the Nuggets have put up far more wins than loses. They 7 of 8 so far. The Nuggets no matter how one thinks of it are having an excellent month and if they can continue to grow and win they will be ready for the post season in better shape with more maturity than last year.
The surprise to other Coaches and teams is a word I use is “Blending”. There is a unique Blending of the old and new members on the team with a very important Blending of Coaching and Players which is the most important things in building a good team that is trusting each other.
The statistics with three-point shooting being down, the oldest player on the team Paul Milsap leading in trips to the foul line with a great shooting percentage. He at 34 years old has elevated his game to lead the team and help Blend the older players, the younger players and the coaches together from his leadership position.
There is a sharing of the load with the team so far this season. Now will the star players like Jokic, and Harris step up their games in being more assertive as the season go forth because the competition will be stepping up their games to key on others. Murray is being quite offensive and Milsap is doing his thing. Will Barton has been a consistent 15 to 17 points a game which is great!
I think the Nuggets can improve but they must keep up their defensive play which has been making up for some of the lack of offensive output by some starters. If the Nuggets can continue to miss the injury bug I think the Nuggets December can equal their November wins.
