The 2nd Annual Aurora Senior Forum, on Oct. 11 at the Aurora Center for Active Adults, 30 Del Mar Circle, is focused on caregivers for seniors, but, all caregivers are welcome. Under the theme “Coming Up for Air,” the forum is hosted the Aurora Center for Active Adults and the Aurora Commission for Seniors, with support from the city of Aurora.

On Friday Oct. 11, the Aurora Senior Forum will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and participants can enjoy conversations with over 60 exhibitors, complementary lunch, hear from industry leaders on the healthy caregiving topic, such as Sandy Rodgers from Innovage and Pamela Wilson from Caregiving Expert.

The Aurora Senior Forum has tips, information and insights on what to do to recognize and address the root causes of caregiver burnout. Attendees receive a free bag, the chance to win door prizes and much more, in a welcoming and festive atmosphere.

On average, caregivers spend 13 hours per month researching care services or information on disease. The Aurora senior forum will put all of local resources for seniors and caregivers together in one place.
