The Windsor Independent Living Facility is Columbine Health Systems’ newest facility conveniently located at the corner of 14th and Main Street. The Windsor offers spacious apartments with one bedroom or two bedroom floor plans. Each unit is equipped with in-unit washers and dryers, living rooms and kitchens for entertaining, and walk-out balconies or patios. With only 31 apartments, the unique size offers a cozy and intimate living environment. Other recreation areas include; the Activity Room, Library, Exercise Room, Sun Room, multiple lounge areas, and large outdoor balconies. Be sure to check out the aquariums!
Our goal is for residents of The Windsor Independent Living to enjoy quality services with plenty of flexibility to meet their individual needs. Our pet-friendly building offers a lifestyle where housework, yard maintenance, snow removal, and meal preparation are a thing of past!
A lifestyle with amenities is exactly what is needed. A variety of innovative activity and wellness programs, scheduled seven days a week, will assist residents to remain active and engaged. Columbine’s van transportation system is available for medical appointments, personal trips, and shopping. The restaurant-style dining room offers daily made-to-order meal service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Weekly housekeeping and linen service are provided for residents’ convenience. In case of an emergency, residents can utilize call button necklaces to page reception staff on site 24 hours a day.
Also on the Windsor campus, residents will have easy access to doctor’s offices, outpatient therapy, home health, companion care, and medical equipment. Our Westwood Patio Homes, Columbine Commons Assisted Living and Health & Rehab are right across the street.
