“Stay As Dead As You Are” centered around Berthoud High School Class of 1982 gathering for their reunion, and everyone was there!
Back for more shenanigans after 35 years are Babs and Guy Gleeson, the perfect couple with the most school spirit; Marty ‘Bud’ Budinski, former class clown; Richard ‘Dick’ Alantra, former captain of the football, baseball and track teams; Gabrielle ‘The Fox’ Fatelle, formerly every boy’s fantasy, now every man’s nightmare; Melvin ‘Wedgie’ Wedgewood, former AV guy and chess team president who is now president and CEO of a fortune 500 software company; and the mysteriously shy and formerly homely Gertrude Magillicutty. During the festivities Guy Gleeson and Vice Principle Schlepper are assaulted by lawn “Jarts’.
Luckily, Detective Joe Mamet received an anonymous invitation to the reunion. Who would want to hurt happy go lucky Guy Gleeson?
Who wouldn’t want to cause harm to Vice Principle Schlepper? And finally, who would invite Detective Joe Mamet to the reunion?
He didn’t even go to school at Berthoud High. Well, fortunately Detective Mamet and his trusty assistant, Sharona Pinter, began the investigation into this ‘injury’ mystery and ended up finding answers to these questions.
The show was performed in a dinner theatre atmosphere at the Methodist Church, Berthoud, by Moon Theatre performers in a highly interactive and immersive nature which the audience seemed to truly enjoy.
