The 8th Annual Film Festival presented at Kress Cinema in Greeley did just that. Over a period of two days, fourteen short films were shown depicting joys, challenges and, opportunities of life. Audiences could choose either the morning or afternoon showings. At the conclusion of each showing there was a discussion period where comments, questions and opinions were encouraged and brought about interesting observations and interpretations from the audiences. Light refreshments were served. The Film Festival created a chance for friends, neighbors and folks yet to meet to get together for enjoyment and fun. The 2017 edition of the Festival was sponsored by Weld County Area Agency on Aging, Banner Health and 50 Plus Marketplace News.
