Are you looking for one place to learn a lot about family caregiving? Look no further! The annual Caregiving Symposium, sponsored by Boulder County Area Agency on Aging and TRU PACE, is a free educational event for family caregivers (and the general public) that offers a unique opportunity for learning about local resources and gaining a better understanding of caregiving issues.
The Caregiving Symposium is on Tuesday, May 16, 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., at the Plaza Convention Center, 1850 Industrial Circle, in Longmont. It features a resource fair of local service providers, handouts, complimentary lunch, and 15 one-hour workshops on dementia, caregiver self-care, legal issues, hospice services, hands-on care tips, end-of-life conversations, and more.
