Greeley and other Weld County citizens gathered at the UNC Campus to learn more about important issues of the day. Speakers representing various professions were on-hand to deliver vital information about – being protected from predators, passing property from one to another, medicaid, medicaid traps, how to avoid court and conflict. The various presentations were both educational and enlightening. Those in attendance, at each session, posed interesting and well thought out questions and received satisfying responses containing legal, policy, experience based references.
Keynote Speaker, Dennis Gallagher
The keynote address was presented by Dennis Gallagher formerly elected to the Colorado House of Representatives and the Colorado Senate. Attendees were invited to visit the numerous sponsor exhibits and enjoy a continental breakfast. All and all, this year’s Senior Law Day added up to a well-organized and professionally presented Public Service Program. According to organizers, the 2017 edition of Senior Law Day Weld County is already being planned and on the drawing board.
