After a very successful and well-attended first year, Senior Law Day Weld County will be held again at the University of Northern Colorado University Center on Thursday, September 15 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Participants can attend presentations on a variety of topics such as Medicaid choices and traps, protecting yourself from predators, passing your property, and avoiding conflicts and court. This year’s keynote speaker is Dennis Gallagher. Each participant will receive a publication which includes highlights from each presentation and a guide to local resources, as well as a copy of the 2016 Senior Law Handbook published by the Colorado Bar Association. Additionally, sponsors will be available with timely and relevant information of interest to seniors and their families.
