As part of their annual giving program for needy causes, Park Regency Loveland Senior Living provided donations to Mountain Home Children’s Home and Alzheimer’s Association.
In July, a $3,000 donation check was presented to Mountain States Children’s Home in Longmont. The donation will help replace a new entry road to their facility. Pictured, Cyndy Luzinski & Kristen Vasquez with Alzheimer’s Association Donation.
In August, Park Regency donated $2,000 to Alzheimer’s Association for the national Music & Memories Project in Northern Colorado. The grant allows local facilities to receive portable music players for their residents with dementia problems. Research indicates people living with dementia can maintain meaningful connection with their environment with the use of this music program. Persons with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other brain related diseases reconnect to the world and gain improved quality of life from listening to personal music favorites.
The grants are given to those organizations which are certified or have a plan to become certified to help pay expenses for implementing the project.
