Keynote Speaker: Dennis Gallagher Mr. Gallagher was born in Denver to Ellen and William Gallagher, a Denver Firefighter. He attended Holly Family Grade and High School in North Denver. Dennis blesses the Sisters of Loretto for teaching him to love the English language. He is a 1961 graduate from Regis College with a B.S. in English Literature. He earned an M.A. from Catholic University of America, Washington D.C.
Dennis was elected to the Colorado House in 1970; Colorado Senate in 1973; the Denver City Council in 1995 serving eight years in that office. He served as Denver Auditor for 12 years being elected in 2003.
Through the years Dennis has diligently worked for seniors on taxes and was responsible for the Gallagher Amendment. He can be reached at dgallag954@aol.com or phone 303-477- 7089. Dennis still holds regular office hours at 9:00 a.m. at Common Grounds Coffee House, 44th and Umatilla, Denver, every Friday.
