The Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation will host the annual Senior Hall of Fame Reception on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Greeley Downtown Recreation Center at 1 pm. Each year the Foundation recognizes seniors for their outstanding contributions and services to their communities. Nominations are accepted from the community. Photographs of the Hall of Fame honorees are displayed for 2 years at the Recreation Center.
In addition to the senior Hall of Fame awards, the Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation provides Weld County Senior Centers with funding through the Senior Grants program for a wide variety of needs as well as Professional Development Grants for senior center staff for educational purpose. Throughout the years, the Foundation has recognized many outstanding senior volunteers and has distributed thousands of dollars to Weld County Senior Facilities.
