The SOAP Troupe Rides Again!

The Fort Collins Senior Center is pleased to announce the annual December show with the SOAP Troupe and the SOAP Tones entitled, “Senior Moments”, a series of humorous vignettes and joyous music, December 4th and 5th on the stage at the Fort Collins Senior Center. Once again, enhancing the holiday season with warmth and humor and musical entertainment, the SOAP Troupe rides again!

The Slightly Older Adult Players have been performing in Fort Collins for over 20 years and people of all ages enjoy their performances each May and December. “We never miss one of their shows!” exclaimed a gentleman recently upon seeing the poster for the upcoming presentation! “They’re always great fun!”

“And we have a blast doing it!” responded Kathy LaMay, current president of the Troupe and producer of “Senior Moments”. It’s a fun time for all ages! The program itself is two hours long with an intermission and refreshments available during the break. The tickets are $5 and available for purchase in advance at the Senior Center at 1200 Raintree Drive, or at the door prior to each show. Friday, December 4th the times are 1:30 and 7:00 pm, and Saturday, December 5th at 2:00 pm.

Proceeds from the performances are returned to the Recreation Department of the City of Fort Collins to enhance and support not only the SOAP Troupe, but many of the other wonderful opportunities listed in “The Recreator.”
