We are strong and vibrant. We are beautiful and talented. We are the Ms. Colorado Senior America Pageant! If you have reached the “Age of Elegance,” 60 years and over, and are self-confident, be a contestant at the 2016 pageant. It is April 17, 2016, at the Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood.
Our organization is filled with committed senior women who give back to the community. They perform at senior centers, veteran centers and other venues and love to share their talents. Join this wonderful club by competing in the Pageant. All contestants become members of the Colorado Cameo Club (CCC), the supporting arm of the organization.
During the pageant, contestants are scored by a panel of judges looking for the lady who best exemplifies the inner beauty of a Ms. Colorado Senior America. Criteria is a private interview, an evening gown competition which displays poise and gracefulness, a statement that conveys her “philosophy of life,” and a talent presentation that demonstrates that a woman’s accomplishments in music, art, dance, or other talent need not diminish with maturing age. The crowned queen, has the same wonderful experiences as the 2015 Queen, Buddi Boryla, who appeared in parades, was featured on the 9News morning show with TaRhonda Thomas, performed at many showcases, and competed at the Ms. Senior America Pageant in Atlantic City, NJ, in October. Applications are now being accepted. If you would like to be a part of this exciting organization and pageant please apply by contacting Recruiting Chair, Nancy Pulc, 720-220-8368, pulcfam@msn.com or Debbie Buczkowski, 303-570-5394, db4truth@outlook.com, by March 1.
You can support the group by booking a talent showcase. Call Ramona DeLaney, 303-759-8148, and attend the pageant. Tickets are available in March 2016.
