Kelley Johnson, reigning Miss Colorado, paid a visit to Good Samaritan Society – Water Valley Senior Living Resort, Windsor to lunch with her grandmother, and share her story with residents, guests and friends.

Born in Fort Collins, Kelley grew up in Windsor. She is a Grand View University Des Moines, Iowa graduate. She was an outstanding volley ball player. Her studies led her to become a Registered Nurse. After her reign as Miss Colorado, Kelley plans to return to her chosen profession as an RN.
As Miss Colorado, Kelley represents the State of Colorado and the pageant at numerous events and various appearances. She is quoted as saying, “Once you take on the role of Miss Colorado, you have huge responsibilities.” She finds traveling throughout the state and meeting interesting and wonderful people exciting. As Miss Colorado she champions many different organizations and causes.
Miss Colorado, Kelley Johnson, is loving every second of this chapter in her life. She would not trade it for the world. Soon she will be on to Atlantic City and the Miss America Pageant. She will be quite the Miss America!
