The family of Lucille Hall welcomed her into the world in August of that year. This month Lucille is celebrating her 100th birthday. She was born in York County, Nebraska and lived for several years on a 160 acre farm. She attended a one room school for 8 years. Lucille moved to Estes Park in 1967, lived there for 45 years; then took up residence at Good Samaritan Society – Water Valley Senior Living Resort, Windsor. Her husband passed away in 1987.
Lucille enjoyed hiking and being a wife and mother focusing on homemaking and those tasks easily associated with both of those very important life positions.
Asked about her longevity, she directed her comments to clean living and coming from a wholesome family which carried over to her own family. Plus her being feisty. She readily admits being just that…And, delightful, too!
Over 100 family and friends from around the country are coming to help Lucille celebrate her One Hundredth Birthday.
