Senior Law Day Weld County is Thursday, September 10 from 7:30 a.m. to noon at the University of Northern Colorado University Center. Local attorneys present subjects of interest, such as fraud prevention, advance directives, wills and trusts, Medicaid eligibility, and Veterans benefits. The keynote speaker, Eileen Doherty, the Executive Director of the Colorado Gerontological Society, presents, “Current Legislative Issues Facing Seniors in Colorado.”
Sponsors offer information of interest available in the University Ballroom, where a light continental breakfast is available. Senior adults and everyone interested in free legal education are encouraged to at- tend and register in advance, as space is limited. A donation of five dollars is suggested but not required. Take-home publications include the Colorado Bar Association’s Senior Law Day Handbook and the Senior Law Day Weld County Manual.
