HomeWell Senior Care, founded in 1996 by a caregiver, opened a new office in Loveland in early April. Owner John Kemp moved his central operations from Longmont to Loveland with a grand opening last month. He has been operating HomeWell for three years. John and his administrative staff, Shannon Bacon and Kelli Howlett are located in the Guaranty Bank building in Southwest Loveland.
HomeWell has a staff of 60 personal assistants including certified nursing assistants, medical assistants, personal care workers, companions, and homemakers working in the Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer, and Weld counties. They cater to their senior clients either at their client’s home or at senior living communities.
HomeWell provides assistance with essential ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, ambulation as well as transportation so seniors can Age in Place with Dignity and Grace. HomeWell is BBB A plus rated, and members of the Loveland and Longmont Chamber of Commerce and Home Care Association.
John founded the Comprehensive Wellness Program at Colorado State University back in 1987 while earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Wellness Management. He has over 25 years of experience working with hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies, corporate employee health and wellness programs and doctors.
