Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Craft Toys for Kids is a project that the Longmont Kiwanis Club’s 40 plus members support.
Using donated lumber, the members make wood toys for donation to kids in need that are served by organizations including hospitals, social services and emergency responders locally and overseas. Sales of the modestly priced toys helps to defray the cost of needed supplies. The toys come in all shapes, sizes, models and are carefully crafted with the child’s fun and safety in mind.
