The Meeker Home Museum, 1324 9th Avenue, opened for the 2015 season on Saturday, April 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is open Saturdays through October 31.
Visitors to the Meeker Home tour this 1870 two-story adobe brick home with a costumed guide who shares the Meeker family history. Visitors learn the fascinating story of the Meeker family and their family members’ fates— channeled by fame, intolerance, poverty and perseverance. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children ages 3-12. New this year, a family of 5 can tour the home for $15. The site is a cash only site.
