The fun and enjoyable picnic was hosted by DEMENTIA TOGETHER and held at TIGGES FARM (of pumpkin patch fame) in Greeley.
Deedra Moats and the Gallery sponsored the main dish at the potluck, and the chili was made especially for the event by the Gallery Chef down in Lone Tree, and was driven up to us by Deedra. It was delicious! The potluck was most inviting. Even seconds were available if one was so inclined.
The picnic brought folks together in a community spirit. A wide range of conversations took place around the tables. Lots of fun chit-chat. Various activities were available to join in. Kathy Rickert of Tigge’s Farm donated the event space free of charge to support Dementia Together. Walks around the farm were interesting. Everyone was invited to FALL into all the joy, fun and uplifting picnic activities.
