Team USA pulled off another miracle with the most medals at 126 as shown in the top 12 country’s medal summary chart below! The next closest was China with 91 total Olympic medals. Interestingly, USA and China tied on Gold medals at 40 each. China’s dominance in several swimming events especially with the diving contests proved to be difficult for Team USA. However, Team USA dominated in many swimming events and the track & Field events with some great wins in men’s and women’s relays races and the fastest man on earth Noah Lyles (pictured) too. USA dominated in women’s soccer, bicycling, & basketball and men’s basketball with gold medals as well.

Overall, another great Summer Olympics! Thanks to Paris and France for hosting a great venue with their opening and closing ceremonies! It was outstanding that Ukraine won 12 medals too! BTW, Russia was eliminated this year because of starting the Ukraine War. The next summer Olympics will be in Los Angeles in 2028!
