The Colorado Senior Softball Association (CSSA) is preparing for the 2015 season. Teams planning to play should submit registration forms no later than March 24th.
CSSA, a nonprofit, organizes and manages a softball league as a means for recreation and exercise for seniors, 50 and up. Teams play through recreation and senior centers on the front-range, from Castle Rock to Greeley and Longmont, Evergreen to Aurora. Divisions are based on competitive level. Double header games are played in a regular season schedule that runs from the third week in April until early August. End-of-season tournaments are then played in August.
The league organizes the regular senior teams (50 and up) into seven divisions who play on Wednesday mornings, and the 70’s teams (70 and up) into three divisions who play on Monday mornings. In 2014, there were 51 regular teams and sixteen 70’s teams.
