Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation Presents 2023 Hall of Fame Recipients

In July, the Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation presented their annual Hall of Fame recipients. The Foundation is privileged to have as part of its mission the opportunity to select, recognize and honor volunteers who have excelled in their service to the citizens and community. These annual awards are sponsored by the Weld County Foundation, Weld County Area Agency on Aging, and 50 Plus Marketplace News.

Greeley Weld Senior Foundation

Norine Schoneman is this year’s recipient of the Winchester Award. This award is given to a volunteer that displays traits of a humanitarian. Norine displays these characteristics as a person and a volunteer, she was extremely valuable in the creation of the Platteville Senior Center.

Barbara Bouse

Barbara Bouse volunteers in Greeley. She is a dedicated volunteer with the Greeley Active Adult Center, Greeley Stampede, And Union Colony Civic Center. Barbara is a great leader for other volunteers in these programs and her knowledge is irreplaceable.

Lucy Montoya

Lucy Montoya volunteers in Platteville. Her most common places of volunteering are with the Platteville Senior Center, Museum, and Food Bank. She also volunteers at the Catholic Church. Lucy’s dedication and willingness to jump in are just few traits that are most appreciated about her.

Olive Stephens

Olive Stephens volunteers in Erie. She commits time to many programs the Erie Active Adults offer, such as the Friendly Fork Lunches and Erie Connect classes. Olive’s reliability is extremely valuable to many programs offered at the Erie Community Center. Congratulations to the 2023 outstanding Hall of Fame recipients!
