Greeley’s 36th annual Arts Picnic again welcomes thousands to celebrate visual, performing, and culinary arts in historic Lincoln Park on Saturday, July 26 from 9 am – 5 pm and on Sunday, July 27 from 9 am – 4 pm. In addition to a food court full of mouth-watering treats from around the world including French, Greek, Mexican and Italian plus award winning BBQ, the event brims with wonderful arts and crafts ranging from pottery, paintings, and purses to glassware and gourmet food created by vendors from across the United States.
Taking a break from shopping and eating is easy—just stop by the beer garden and enjoy a “cold one” while listening to Center Stage entertainment. And speaking of entertainment, the festival showcases some of the best local and regional performers on two stages—so find a shady spot and enjoy rock, blues, honky-tonk, big band, Celtic rock, and yes … Elvis!
The Picnic’s “Creation Station” is the perfect place for mini-Monets and pint-sized Picassos to let their imaginations run free with make ‘n take arts and crafts projects. Also located in Creation Station is the Merry Makers Stage where “picnickers” young and old can marvel at magicians, be amazed at balloon artists, giggle at jugglers and chuckle at clowns.
So stroll, shop, eat, drink, laugh, dance and make memories to last a lifetime at the Arts Picnic… It’s a feast of fun for everyone! For a complete Arts Picnic schedule, visit www.artspicnic.com/.
