2014 Boulder County Fair

This year’s Boulder County Fair runs from August 1-10. To celebrate the 145th year, we have more events than ever before. The first weekend features a new Craft Fair in the Exhibit Building and focuses on local artisans and crafters spotlighting our home-grown talent. Entry and parking to the fair are free, as is a vast majority of the events. Numerous bands perform during the week and are also free. Explore the fairgrounds which is full of animals raised by 4-H youth. A variety of businesses provide information about products and services. Our 145th year also includes favorites including a CPRA Rodeo, Bullfighting: the nice kind, Demolition Derby, Truck & Tractor Pull, Draft Horse Classic and for the first time, a Mexican Rodeo. The Fair has fun activities for kids of all ages, so bring your family for a great day. A Kid’s Corral full of fun exploratory adventures, bouncy castles and a petting zoo, $5 unlimited use wristband and special free activities geared just for Kids. The carnival is open during the entire fair.
