Colorado Among Top Ten States for Business!

According to a recent business report, Colorado is among the top ten states for business, ranking 8th overall and 2nd in workforce. “It’s no secret that Colorado is the best place to live, work and do business. We’re powering the Colorado Comeback by supporting our small businesses, developing our workforce across our state, creating jobs, and providing tax relief to help businesses and hardworking families get ahead,” said Governor Jared Polis. “I’m proud that Colorado is a top ten place to do business and we hope to do even better in the future.”

Governor Jared Polis

Governor Polis is focused on delivering tax relief for Colorado. The tax relief package the Governor signed this year goes a long way toward leveling the playing field, to make sure that there are less special interest breaks and that we all pay lower rates.

Tens of thousands of Colorado businesses won’t need to file or pay the business personal property tax going forward, saving them time and money. The Governor signed a new law that will help Colorado’s small and growing businesses save thousands of dollars annually that they can reinvest back into their businesses. Additionally, the Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgeting released the State’s economic forecast, indicating strong economic growth and demonstrating that our state is well-positioned to recover from the COVID-19 global pandemic.
