MacKenzie Place, a retirement village in Fort Collins, sponsored their third annual classic car show on May 17. Over thirty classic cars and trucks from the early 1900s to the present were shown at this event. Entertainment was provided by Kenny Cordova and his band and lunch served by the Boot Grill. Proceeds were given to the Wounded Warrior project as part of this fun event. Over 100 visitors voted on the various cars and trucks.
Five awards were presented by Zoe Monts with MacKenzie Place to the classic car owners: Craig & Deanna Bigler received the award for Class A (Pre-1932) award for their 1932 Plymouth, Chuck & Dale Bonza received the Class B (1933-1945) award for their 1941 Pontiac Woodie station wagon, Pat & Reid Jacobs received the Class D (1961-present) award for their 1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible, KFKA radio host Gil Moon received the Class E (Hot Rod) award for his 1929 Ford custom pickup, and Bill & Susan Worden received the Best in Show award for their 1929 Ford Model A Roadster.
