The Assistance League® of Greeley announces that applications are now available for its single parent scholarships. Awards assist students who seek to escape poverty and become positive role models. Recipients would attend the University of Northern Colorado or Aims Community College.
Assistance League of Greeley Single Parent Scholarships
Eligibility for both includes:
• Be a custodial single parent, living on your own apart from the other parent, with a child or children (age birth through completion of secondary school) living with you no less than 50% of the time.
• U.S. citizen residing in Weld County for at least one year.
• Submit 3 letters of recommendation with completed application.
Aims criteria to be eligible:
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be admitted into a program at Aims Community College
• Have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must reapply to be considered for another year. Preference is given to full-time students.
To Apply. Complete the Aims Universal Scholarship Application & FAFSA. UNC Criteria, to be eligible, you must:
• Be admitted into an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Provide documentation of at least a 3.0 GPA, Undergraduate; 3.5 GPA, Graduate. Students must reapply to be considered for another year. Preference is given to full-time under-graduate or graduate students.
