Reveille 3 is honored to announce their international tour to represent Colorado, the U.S., and all military veterans at the 70th D-Day commemoration in Normandy, France in early June.
D-Day was the military invasion by the allied forces on June 6, 1944 to stop the Nazi regime in France and Europe during World War II. The invasion was successful with the defeat of the Nazi regime one year later.
As one of a handful of performance groups selected for this honor, Reveille 3 is now promoting their international tour with several performances in Colorado.
The American Battle Monument Commission, organizers of the 70th commemoration event, does not provide financial assistance for performers nor pay for travel expenses. The Colorado community is asked to help Reveille 3 pay their expenses to France and Germany by donating at www.Kickstarter.com.
This hot trio has been bringing their cool nostalgic sounds and charming choreography to packed performances since 2009. Captivating audiences with their precision harmonies and swingin’ vocal rhythms, Reveille 3 is at their very best with songs made popular by the famous Andrews Sisters during WWII.
Reveille 3 has travelled across the Colorado Front Range and the U.S. with three wonderful, engaging, and heart warming shows, “Letters from Home,” “Home Front Holiday Radio Show,” and their 2014 show “The Canteen Club.” Their performances will transport you to an era of war bonds, rations and scrap drives, winning the hearts of young and old alike!
They celebrated their commemorative festivities for free in Fort Collins on Friday, May 16 at 7 pm at the Poudre River Library’s Harmony Branch on Shields at Harmony. Their last concert visit to Fort Collins was in 2012.
