During our WriteNOW genealogy writing group meeting this weekend on ZOOM, we had attendees from California, Florida, and the Western Slope. They found the class on ConferenceKeeper.org, a website that includes a calendar of upcoming events, genealogical conferences, available grants and scholarships, contests, calls for papers, and volunteer opportunities. If you are looking for events focused on Jewish genealogy or African-American genealogy or American land records or many other topics, you will find an event to ZOOM in on.

No matter where you are in your genealogical research or writing process now is the time to take advantage of free or low-cost events to speed your research along.

~ Carol Cooke Darrow teaches a Beginning Genealogy class on ZOOM on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Register at cogensoc.us.
