What a year 2020 has turned out to be. The Weld Senior Symposium (formally Senior Law Day) planning committee took early action in order to continue to offer this great event, but in a virtual and safe platform for everyone. Weld Senior Symposium: Navigating Legal Issues & Area Resources will be held virtually on Thursday, October 1st starting at 8:00 am. The lineup this year won’t disappoint. Over six sessions, the topics will cover everything from retirement planning, reverse mortgages, navigating grief, and technology, and scams to name a few. Please keep turning the page to see the full line up and a description of each topic and speaker.
After you have read all about the speakers and workshops and selected which ones you want to attend, please register by visiting www.weldseniorsymposium.org. We can also help you register over the phone by calling (970) 400- 6950. Once you have registered, please be patient with us, we’ll send you a link closer to the event date so you can participate virtually on October 1st. Make sure you stay tuned in during the entire event to see and hear about the great resources our event sponsors provide.
I also want to take a minute to thank the planning committee. Each and everyone is working tirelessly for older adults in the community. Due to COVID-19, they have completely switched gears and are working even harder to provide a fabulous event for you. I also greatly appreciate the sponsors who know the value and importance of sharing this information with older adults and their caregivers. Without either of them, Weld Senior Symposium would not be possible. “See” you October 1, 2020!
