As of April 8th at 12 pm, as reported by the World Health Organization (WHO), over 1.4 million cases have been confirmed with 85,397 deaths. In the U.S.: 417, 206 cases have been confirmed with 14,583 deaths. In Colorado, 5,429 cases have been reported with 179 deaths.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson spent his second day in ICU at a London hospital and appears to be in good spirits without having to be on a ventilator. Get Well Soon Mr. Prime Minister!
Interestingly, the President of Belarus encourages everyone to attend all their sports games as the virus is not a problem. I suspect Russia and other border countries will lock down its borders when Belarus citizens try to crossover from the pandemic yet to hit there in a week or two.
And the good news is the acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly is no longer acting, but gone! Hopefully, the personnel on the aircraft carrier Teddy Roosevelt can be isolated without having more infections.
