The Eaton Area Parks and Recreation District is pleased to have Brian Stone as their New Executive Director. Brian comes from the City of Evans where for the last 22 years he served as Recreation Coordinator.
Brian Stone
Brian was born in Greeley. He called Keenesburg, Colorado home until he went off to college in 1994; eventually to earn a B.S. Degree in Recreation Management at UNC.
Brian and his wife Courtney are parents of two sons Jaden and Lucas and are residents of Eaton. They very much enjoy spending time together. Family vacations are high on the list of priorities. Various sporting events often catch Brian’s attention.
The reconstruction of Riverside Park following the devastating flood of 2013 and the construction of the Riverside Library and Cultural Center called Brian to serve as Project Manager which gave him the opportunity to put to use his wealth of experience, knowledge and talents. As time went on, Brian was honored with awards recognizing and honoring the excellence of his work.
Brian is excited becoming the new Executive Director of the Eaton Area Parks and Recreation District. He is looking forward to serving the District and is being wished success in every way.
