Do you know that volunteering is actually good for you? In addition to supporting your community, studies suggest that volunteering reduces stress and helps elevate your mood. As you share your skills with others, you are also learning and growing, building new relationships, deepening your social network, making an impact on those in need, and having fun while doing it!
If you are an active adult with a positive outlook, a desire to help others, and a few hours each week, St. Anthony Medical Campus may have an opportunity for you! There are numerous volunteer opportunities available on a campus designed to help support our patients, visitors, and associates. Customer service roles include assisting in our busy gift shop, serving at one of our Information Desks and escorting patients and visitors. Additional roles include stocking supplies, providing comfort items to patients, patient transport, and clerical support, as well as our very popular Paws for Patients pet therapy program for very well behaved four-legged friends and their owners (call for details).
We offer volunteer shifts seven days per week in four-hour increments, with a minimum service commitment of 100 hours in the program.
As part of Centura Health, St. Anthony Hospital is a leading Level I Trauma Center located in Lakewood, Colorado.
