Under blue skies and a canopy of shade trees, historic Lincoln Park again hosts the annual Arts Picnic welcoming thousands of people to this summer festival. Artists and crafters come from all over the nation to sell their photographs, watercolors, handmade soaps, garden art, jewelry, ceramics, woodworked items and so much more!
The Picnic’s Creation Station is where the mini-Monets and pint-size Picasso’s can let their imaginations run free with make‘n’take craft projects and hands-on musical activities. Friends and family gather in the food court finding fabulous fare including BBQ, burritos, calzones and kabobs or take a break in the beer garden conveniently located close to Center Stage entertainment. And speaking of entertainment, music fans can enjoy some of the best local and regional performers playing folk to funk, salsa to soul, honky-tonk to indie-rock and yes . . . even Elvis! Not to mention roaming stilt walkers, balloon twisters, magicians, and a circus troupe roaming through the park all weekend!
So whether you’re in the mood to buy one-of-a-kind handmade arts and crafts, devour delicious food and drink, listen to great music, or just relax in the beer garden, you can do it all at the 41st annual Arts Picnic Saturday, July 27th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday, July 28th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. It’s truly a feast of fun for everyone! www.artspicnic.com
