Windsor Community Playhouse’s Christmas Show presentation of “The Charitable Sisterhood” was definitely an audience pleaser. Smiles, chuckle and outright laughter were the order of the evening from opening to closing curtain.
The incredible cast of characters played their parts in a very entertaining way and did not miss a beat interacting with one another as they brought the story to life.
Christmas 1977 is only three weeks away, and the ladies of the Charitable Sisterhood are preparing for an annual Christmas Spectacular. They are challenged to stay focused on their preparations because someone stole the Baby Jesus figure from the nativity scene. There were accusations, investigations, funny, funny lines as the characters revealed themselves as the show evolved and the mystery eventually solved. The closing of the evening’s performance brought an ongoing round of audience applause which surely indicated audience approval of “The Charitable Sisterhood.” Be sure to checkout the WCP website www.windsorplayhouse.org for future shows.
