Established more than 40 years ago, the Clements Community Center’s Saturday Night Dance program is a favorite among ageless adults looking to dust off their dance shoes, socialize and enjoy great live music. Dances are on the second, third and fourth Saturdays of each month from 7 to 10 p.m. at the center at 1580 Yarrow St.
Guests love the fun and lively atmosphere, where couples and singles ages 55 and better are welcome. Guests pay $7 per person at the door, and light refreshments are served. Upcoming local bands include September 8, Perfect Harmony; September 15, Blue Notes; September 22, Lois Lane.
For some, the center’s Saturday Night Dance program is a date night not to be missed. “I love our Saturday Night Dance at Clements,” said Sally Ortiz, regular Saturday Night Dance participant. “It’s where we socialize with friends, and it’s a nice dance community. Folks should come and see what it’s all about.”
