The Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave., proudly celebrates 30 years in show business. Since its doors first opened on September 25, 1988, the UCCC has brought art, culture, history and joy to Greeley and the greater Northern Colorado area. With shows ranging anywhere from song and dance to jaw-dropping feats of magic, shows for all ages and interests have been brought to the stage. This year aims to be no different.
The fall semester begins when “Cesar Millan Live!” shows the audience the secret to healthy, long-lasting relationships between humans and their furry friends. “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: Finding Your Inner All Star” hits the stage next. Abdul-Jabbar speaks with riveting and humorous detail as he recounts his exciting evolution from street ball player to athlete, author, producer, and community activist. If music is more your scene, come hear the musical talents and heart-warming story of Mandy Harvey in “GPO & UCCC Present Mandy Harvey” or the widely popular country group, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
All that and more is set to come as the UCCC celebrates its 30th anniversary and the fun continues as the spring semester is shortly underway!
Every major performance offers valet parking. For more information and tickets, contact the UCCC ticket office at 970-356-5000, or go online to ucstars.com.
