Local outpatient physical and occupational therapy provider, Covell Care & Rehabilitation, will open a new clinic at Rigden Farm Senior Living community on October 1st. The clinic, which will be open to the public, is designed to serve Rigden Farm residents and the broader senior population in Fort Collins. This is the first clinic opened by Covell Care since forming in 2005, and continues the unique tradition of providing access to on-site outpatient and therapy services to residents Rigden Farm. To celebrate this new partnership, Rigden Farm will host an Open House on Friday, October 4th starting at 3:30p.m.
Covell Care is owned and operated by Krista Covell, an experienced and award-winning occupational therapist who specializes in cognitive therapy and continence management. The agency is a licensed Medicare Part B and Medicaid provider and has a history of assisting clients with driving retirement, balance testing, home safety, caregiver support, as well as dementia and Alzheimer’s. Covell Care recently expanded its offerings to include nurse consulting and geriatric care management.
Rigden Farm Senior Living is an 55+ independent living community located at Drake and Timberline in east Fort Collins. The community opened in 2006 and has focused on providing access to fitness and therapy as well as homecare services on site to enable residents to age in place gracefully. By partnering with Covell Care, Rigden Farm believes that it can better meet the therapy and fitness needs of its residents and serve as a hub for therapy to the senior population in Fort Collins and Larimer County.
